We are pleased to announce that starting today, Monday 20th August, we are returning to our normal opening times of:

  • Monday – 9am to 6pm
  • Tuesday – 9am to 6pm
  • Wednesday – 9am to 7pm
  • Thursday – 9am to 7pm
  • Friday – 9am to 6pm

We are also pleased to announce that the main reception of BMA House, along with the Hastings Room and the Garden Cafe, have now re-opened after their temporary closure during the Olympics period, so you no longer need to use Entrance D of BMA House to get to the Library.

Starting on Monday, 23rd July, our opening times will be as follows:

  • Clock faceMonday – 9am to 5pm
  • Tuesday- 9am to 5pm
  • Wednesday- 9am to 5pm
  • Thursday- 9am to 5pm
  • Friday- 9am to 5pm

These opening hours will be in operation for the next four weeks, until Monday, 20th August, when we revert back to our normal opening hours.

From next Monday, 16th July, until Friday, 17th August visitors to the Library will need to use Entrance D of BMA House. This is because the Main Entrance and Reception area of BMA House will be unavailable during this five week period.

Entrance D is located at the front of BMA House, and is approximately half way between the Main Entrance and Starbucks, as illustrated in the picture below.

In addition to the Main Entrance and the Reception area being unavailable during this five week period, the Garden Cafe, the Hastings Room, and other public areas of BMA House will also be unavailable.
