Let our Dissertation and Research Service help you
New project looming?
Whether you are carrying out a systematic review, beginning a dissertation, writing an article, or delving deep into the medical literature to write new guidelines, the library’s Dissertation and Research Service can give you a helping hand.
Free to all members of the BMA, the service provides literature searches carried out by our own Clinical Librarian, bespoke 1:2:1 training so you can enhance your own skills and assisted search sessions where we can guide you through the process of developing your search strategy on a particular topic, teaming your clinical knowledge with our research expertise.
The library’s Clinical Librarian has over 20 years’ experience searching medical literature and with access to Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, HMIC and Cochrane, all areas of clinical medicine, health and social care are covered.
To request a search simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
For further information on free one-to-one sessions please contact Helen Elwell, Clinical Librarian, by phone on 020 7383 6582 or email email@example.com
