Institutional Membership and Pay As You Go Schemes

Let our services become your services by joining the right scheme to suit you and your users.

Any library or information service can join. Current members include trust libraries, university libraries, medical charities, pharmaceutical companies and research organisations.

Institutional membership scheme

  • Free access to Medline via the Ovid SP interface for your library/information service staff
  • Quick and cheap loans with free renewals
  • Articles emailed the same day (if requested by 3pm) and 60% cheaper than our non-member rate
    – Urgent 1 hour service also available
  • 24/7 access to our services with our online catalogue
  • Free access to our information and reference services
    (please note this excludes mediated literature searches)

Annual membership subscription rates:

  • Public sector (eg. NHS and academic libraries) £85 + VAT
  • Private sector (eg. Pharmaceutical companies) £750 + VAT
  • Subscription runs from April to March although you can join any time of the year at a pro-rata rate

Pay As You Go (PAYG) Scheme

  • No annual subscription fee
  • Free access to Medline via the Ovid SP interface for your library/information service staff
  • Articles emailed the same day (if requested by 3pm) and 30% cheaper than our non-member rate
    – Urgent 1 hour service also available
  • Free access to our information and reference services
    (please note this excludes mediated literature searches)
