Change to the process for downloading and opening the PDF files of our E-Books

Our E-Books provider, Dawsonera from the 31st October) introduced an important change to their platform.
This change resulted in BMA members now needing to use Adobe Digital Editions in order to access the PDFs of any of the titles that they download from our E-Books Collection.
Adobe Digital Editions is available as a free download from the Adobe website for laptop and desktop users:
http://www.adobe.com/uk/solutions/ebook/digital-editions/download.html
It is also available as a free app in the App Store for Apple iOS devices, as well as the Google Play store for Android devices.
After installing the application on your device you will need to create an Adobe ID. Step-by-step instructions on how to do this will appear when you first launch the application.
Once you created your Adobe ID account, and logged into Adobe Digital Editions with it, you should then able to download and successfully open the PDFs of any of our E-Books.
If you have any questions about this new process for downloading the PDFs of our E-Books please contact us at: e-books@bma.org.uk
