Let our Literature Search Service help you

New year, new project looming?
If 2018 will see you undertaking a research project, writing an article, tackling a dissertation or delving deep into the medical literature to write new guidelines, the library’s Dissertation and Research Service can give you a helping hand.
The service offers free literature searches carried out by the library’s Clinical Librarian who has over 20 years’ experience searching medical literature.
With access to Medline, Embase, PsycINFO, HMIC and Cochrane, all areas of clinical medicine, health and social care are covered.
To request a search simply email us at info.medline@bma.org.uk
We also offer free one-to-one sessions, held at BMA House, for those who wish to receive search skills training or who require an assisted search session where the Clinical Librarian can assist you directly with developing your own search strategy on a specific topic.
For further information on free one-to-one sessions please contact Helen Elwell, Clinical Librarian, by phone on 020 7383 6582 or email helwell@bma.org.uk
